Zusammenfassung: | Tetradecanoic acid, 1H-Purine-2,6-dione,3,7-dihydro-7-(4-tert-butylbenzyl)-1,3-dimethyl-, Phenol, 2,6-bis(1,1-dimethylethyl)-4-[(4-hydroxy-3,5-dimethylphenyl)methyl]- were the major phytochemical molecules detected by Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometry analysis exhibiting significant pharmacological activities. Reactive oxygen species (ROS) include free radicals such as .O2- (superoxide anion), .OH (hydroxyl radical), H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide) and .O2 (singlet oxygen) which cause cellular injuries and initiate peroxidation of polyunsaturated fatty acids in biological membranes13,14. Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) analysis: Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrophotometer (FTIR) is the most powerful tool for identifying the types of chemical bonds (functional groups) present in compounds. |
