Novel orange-red emitting Sm3+-doped Bi4Sr3Te5O19 phosphors with high color purity for white light-emitting diodes
Novel Sm 3+ -doped tellurate Bi 4 Sr 3 Te 5 O 19 phosphors have been prepared through the solid-state reaction for the first time. The powder phase purity, particle morphology, and luminescence properties are analyzed in detail. Under the 405 nm excitation, the Bi 4 Sr 3 Te 5 O 19 :Sm 3+ phosphors s...

phosphors are as high as 99.9%. The commission international de l'Eclairage (CIE) color coordinates are in the orange-red region. Temperature-related photoluminescence spectra and the corresponding CIE color coordinates indicate the phosphors possess good thermal stability and stable color property. Besides, the internal quantum efficiency (IQE) of the Bi
