Zusammenfassung:Hydride-containing 1,1-(PPh 3 ) 2 -1-H-3-O(CH 2 ) 4 - isonido -1,2,4-OsC 2 B 8 H 9 osmacarborane bearing a charge-compensated ligand was synthesized via a reaction of the deprotonated form of medium non-icosahedral 5,6- nido -C 2 B 8 H 12 carborane with (PPh 3 ) 3 OsCl 2 in a THF solution. The structure of this complex was assigned using 1 H, 11 B/ 11 B{ 1 H}, and 31 P{ 1 H} NMR spectroscopy.
