Zusammenfassung:High-resolution ultrasonic imaging techniques are necessary for the non-invasive diagnostics of artificial cell-matrix systems. The results from experimental studies show these techniques are sensitive to variations in the elastic properties of biopolymer samples and can be used effectively to detect micro and macro voids and monitor processes of biodegradation in tissue-engineered constructs (TECs).
