Zusammenfassung:In this work, solid polymer blend electrolyte films of Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA) and Polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) doped with Sodium Fluoride (NaF) were prepared by solution casting technique and are structurally characterized by XRD and FTIR techniques. Decrease in the degree of crystallinity of the polymer blends due to the addition of NaF and interaction between PVA, PVP and NaF were confirmed from XRD studies. Formation of the PVA, PVP and NaF blends were confirmed from FTIR studies by observing functional groups of PVA, PVP and NaF in the blends. Dielectric and a.c. conductivity studies were carried out to the as prepared films at room temperature in the frequency range 50 Hz to 5 MHz. Dielectric Constant (ε′) is maximum and found to decrease with increase in frequency and electrical conductivity of the complexed polymer blends increases by the addition of NaF. The prepared films have potential for applications in energy storage devices.
