Zusammenfassung: | Polyaniline and polyaniline-neodymium oxide composites were synthesized by in-situ polymerization method using ammonium persulfate as an oxidizing agent. Composites were made by mixing polyaniline and neodymium oxide in different weight% (10, 20, 30, 40 and 50). The structural and morphological changes in the composite were investigated by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM). FTIR spectrum showed the formation of the composite with well agreed characteristic peaks. FESEM images of the composite revealed the branch-like granular morphology of the composite. The dielectric behavior of the composite is measured in the frequency range from 50 to 5 M Hz. Variation of dielectric constant of the composites with the applied frequency is attributed to the Maxwell-Wagner polarization and Koops phenomenological model. |
