Zusammenfassung:We devised a container for the headspace method, which is used for the easy measurement of hydrogen sulfide gas that may be released from landfill leachate and other water samples. In the experiment, the gas was diffused by shaking a sealed plastic bottle containing water samples, and the method of measuring the concentration of hydrogen sulfide in the gas phase using a detector tube was examined. As a result, the method that introduces outside air to the bottle bottom during gas-phase sampling showed a positive result. The reproducibility of this method was measured, and the effects of dissolved sulfide and the pH value were examined.
