Zusammenfassung:The genetic population structure of marbled rockfish Sebastiscus marmoratus was investigated based on nucleotide sequence data from mitochondrial DNA control region of 162 individuals collected from five localities (Oshima, Hakatajima, Omishima, Innoshima and Kurahashijima islands) in Central Seto Inland Sea, Japan. A total of 92 composite haplotypes were detected. The estimated pairwise Fst showed no genetic differentiation among the all islands.
