Frictional Interaction of Warp Threads and Heddles of Weaving Machines

A method for analyzing frictional interaction of warp yarn and heddles during formation of sheds on STB type of weaving machines is described. The path, speed of motion of the warp thread relative to the eye of the heddle and frictional forces between them are taken as the criteria of the analysis.
