Zusammenfassung:The paper presents the qualitative and quantitative elemental analysis of V 0.93 Fe 0.07 O 2 compound powder performed by the X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) technique. The analysis is carried out before and after temperature cycling. The XPS spectra show that changes in the chemical composition and the electronic structure of V 0.93 Fe 0.07 O 2 compound powder occur in the thin surface layer. In the deeper layers these parameters remain unchanged.
