Zusammenfassung:In this, we report the terahertz (THz) transmission and reflection properties of different polymers (PDMS, 950K PMMA A8, and 495K PMMA A4) on the high-resistivity silicon substrate in broadband THz spectrum ranging from 0.1-1THz. The PDMS showed the minimum reflection of the THz waves compared to the other two polymers in the wide frequency range. In the case of PMMA, the transmittance is more prominent in thick PMMA having higher molecular weight. The THz spectroscopy measurements demonstrated that PMMA resist can be used as a dielectric layer in THz devices and PDMS as a flexible substrate in THz microfluidic applications.
