Zusammenfassung:Nickel ferrite (NiFe2O4) (NFO) nano-octahedrons and nanorods were synthesized using a simple hydrothermal method without surfactant. X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Field emission scaning electron microscopy (FESEM) were used to study structural and morphological behaviour of NFO samples respectively. Pysical property measurement system (PPMS) technique was used to analysis the magnetic properties of synthesized samples. The peaks present in XRD spectra confirmed the single phase formation of nickel ferrite nanoparticles. FESEM confirm the formation of nanorods and nano-octahedrons morphology of the samples. From M-H measurement by PPMS system we found that saturation magnetization (Ms) and coericivity (Hc) of nanorods and nano-octahedrons are 23 emu/gm (Ms), 35 Oe (Hc) and 63 emu/gm (Ms), 55 Oe (Hc) respectively.images.
