Zusammenfassung: | Amongst all the III-VI semiconductors, those that crystallize with a layered structure have been of special interest due to its significant uses in photovoltaic devices. Considering that it has a low density of dangling bonds on its surface, III-VI layered materials such as indium selenide has great photo electronic traits. Here, Indium selenide (InxSey) thin film was synthesized through a simple and cost-effective drop-casting technique which has still not been reported. Using the solution as reference material, the InxSey thin films were drop-casted on a glass substrate. InxSey obtained by drop-casting was annealed at 400°C. Structural, surface morphological, compositional analysis and optical properties of the as-deposited films were studied by X-Ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), EDAX and UV-visible spectroscopy respectively. |
