Antimicrobial Peptides from Fritillaria pallidiflora

Four peptide fractions were isolated from the plant Fritillaria pallidiflora. The second, third, and fourth peptide fractions were arbitrarily called BM-3-2, BM-3-3, and BM-3-4 and exhibited antimicrobial activity against pathogens. LC-MS/MS detected 16 peptides in the molecular mass range 1163.65–3...

Zusammenfassung:Four peptide fractions were isolated from the plant Fritillaria pallidiflora. The second, third, and fourth peptide fractions were arbitrarily called BM-3-2, BM-3-3, and BM-3-4 and exhibited antimicrobial activity against pathogens. LC-MS/MS detected 16 peptides in the molecular mass range 1163.65–3237.695 Da. Peptide sequencing found that one of them was new.
