Zusammenfassung: | The heating of current-limiting elements made of second-generation HTSC tapes stabilized with a stainless steel tape is studied experimentally. It is shown that the heating rate depends little on the degree of stabilization with stainless steel. Using a mathematical model that takes into account the heat sink parameters (the medium is liquid nitrogen), the capabilities and limitations of increasing the area of the current-limiting element for reducing its temperature in the current limiting mode are demonstrated. |
