Spontaneous Magnetization Loss Dynamics of (Pr, Dy)–(Fe, Co)–B Magnets

Comparison of spontaneous magnetization losses in (Pr 0.51 Dy 0.49 ) 13 (Fe 0.64 Co 0.36 ) 80 B 7 and (Pr 0.51 Dy 0.49 ) 13 (Fe 0.64 Co 0.36 ) 79 Cu 1 B at % sintered magnets shows that copper doping reduces these losses. Zusammenfassung:Comparison of spontaneous magnetization losses in (Pr 0.51 Dy 0.49 ) 13 (Fe 0.64 Co 0.36 ) 80 B 7 and (Pr 0.51 Dy 0.49 ) 13 (Fe 0.64 Co 0.36 ) 79 Cu 1 B at % sintered magnets shows that copper doping reduces these losses. This is associated with phase homogenization reducing the scattering fields at phase boundaries as well as with an increase in the mean anisotropy field and the coercive force that stabilizes time characteristics of a magnet. It is found that the demagnetization dynamics at room temperature is described by an exponential function.
