Zusammenfassung: | Students from both upper primary and lower secondary years responded to a questionnaire covering various aspects of their schooling experience. The questionnaire contains seventy- three items the majority of which are constructed with a four point Likert scale. An analysis of the questionnaire indicated that the four point Likert scale questions are highly reliable when all these questions are considered and within its sub- sections. The paper reports these Aboriginal students responded highly positively on a number of significant features in regard to their schooling with the exception of their teachers' attitudes toward them. The analyses indicated the need for teachers to form strong relationships with Aboriginal students to ensure their educational success. [Author abstract] |
