The de-industrializing city in the UK and Germany: conceptual approaches and empirical findings in comparative perspective

As was already communicated to the authors and reviewers of the Revista de Sociologia e Politica, in 2019 our journal did not receive any funds from the Federal Government. This endowment was responsible for about three quarters of our annual budget and the interruption of this revenue generated a series of consequences for the journal's routines. Only in the second half of September of that year were we able to establish a partnership with a new sponsor, Centro Universitário Internacional Uninter. The funds obtained through this sponsorship will make it possible to publish all articles planned for 2019. The purpose of this editorial is to introduce this new sponsor to the readers of Revista de Sociologia e Politica.
