Chairman's Communiqué

An equal world is an enabled world. Individually, we're all responsible for our own thoughts and actions - all day, every day. We can actively choose to challenge stereotypes, fight bias, broaden perceptions, improve situations and celebrate women's achievements. Collectively, each one of us can help create a gender equal world. The theme for International Women's Day, 8 March 2020 is, lam Generation Equality: Realizing Women s Rights. The theme is aligned with UN Women's new multigenerational campaign. Generation Equality, which marks the 25th anniversary of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action. The year 2020 represents an unmissable opportunity to mobilize global action to achieve gender equality and human rights of all women and girls.
