Zusammenfassung: | When Greg Clarke and Petro first discussed the idea of creating an OAME-based podcast, it was actually more than a decade ago. It was at the end of OAME 2007 in Barrie, where Greg was one of the organizers. Petro had presented a session on listening to podcasts about math, and they were saying that it shouldn't be too difficult to create one of their own. When it was conceived, it was meant to be a place where people could get some insightful information that came out of the annual OAME conference. Although we originally thought there would be just a podcast, we expanded the idea to include live webinars at the same time. The premise is that we take some of the featured and most popular sessions from the most recent OAME conference and have those speakers repeat them for our members in an online webinar format. |
