Zusammenfassung:This paper aims to enrich existing studies by showing the results of an investigation oriented to identify relationships between learning styles and the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) at the level of university teaching. Through a component-based factor analysis with data obtained from a survey applied to 73 teachers of a Higher Education Institution, nine components of knowledge, use and perception about ICT, and three components of learning styles were identified that and subsequently contrasted with each other based in the sample, in this way this study finds a reinterpretation of the existing theory in context with the Institution of Higher Education of this study. The results obtained allowed to identify characteristics of the Institution and the role of its teachers in the framework of the generation of policies and strategies oriented towards teacher development and the collective construction of a culture of ICT for education.
