Zusammenfassung:In the Kanto and Tohoku heavy rain event in September 2015 and the heavy rain event in July 2018, serious flood damage occurred due to floods, and many medical institutions suffered flood damage. In these medical institutions, the medical service function was stopped, and there were cases in which inpatients had to be transferred to another hospital. Countermeasures for flood disasters in medical institutions are important issues for medical continuity. We conducted a questionnaire survey on the implementation status of disaster prevention measures for medical institutions in Tokushima prefecture. From the survey results, it was found that measures such as evacuation training and BCP formulation for inundation disasters were not advanced. We conducted interview surveys on the response from the initial response to the resumption of medical treatment for hospitals that were flooded and damaged by heavy rain. From this result, we considered measures and ideas to be tackled in order to realize an early recovery from flood damage.
