Zusammenfassung: | The paper considers a model of the phase-field crystal (PFC). Previously, this model was studied in a modification (hyperbolic form) that allows it to be used to describe both slow and fast phase transformations. However, for a more detailed analysis of simulations, it became necessary to consider advanced methods of postprocessing. One of these methods and its implementation are considered in current work. The method called PFC PV-Plugin makes it possible to find the boundary of the crystallization interface within the computational domain and to calculate the velocity of that interface. The paper presents the principle of the PFC PV-Plugin method and some calculations using it. |
