Zusammenfassung: | When looking at any new venture, it is all about the business case: the potential economic return on the investment of your time and resources, given all the options you have for those inputs. Cultivated seaweeds can be a new and sustainable economic crop for sea farmers, and provide additional financial returns to their operations. However, beyond the complexity of growing a new biomass, successful commercialization will also depend on creating efficient logistics to move and process that biomass, fully utilizing it as a resource, and choosing the right channels to enter and products to develop. |
