Synthesis and Properties of Aminomethoxy Derivatives of 1-(p-Tolyloxy)-3-(propylsulfanyl)propane

Mannich condensation of 1-( p -tolyloxy)-3-(propylsulfanyl)propane-2-ol with formaldehyde and secondary amines leads to the formation of new aminomethoxy derivatives of 1-( p -tolyloxy)-3-(propylsulfanyl)propane in yield of 68–80%. Antimicrobial activity of the obtained compounds was investigated.
