Partial Coherence of Laser Diode Radiation as a Cause of Generation Channels Formation

The modeling of high-power wide-contact laser diodes is discussed taking into account the limitations imposed by the short coherence length of radiation. The relationships between coherence, spectrum, and nonlinear properties of a laser resonator are considered.
