Zusammenfassung:A two-stage technology permitting pyrolytic conversion of biomass to gaseous fuel is considered, for the example of papermaking and coffee wastes: sawdust, sludge, and parchment hulls from coffee beans. Analysis of the initial materials and the products of thermal processing shows that 1 kg of biomass yields 1.23–1.41 m 3 of producer gas. The calorific value of the gas produced is 10.69–10.74 MJ/m 3 . The yield of biochar is 25.1–29.5% (in the dry state).
