Zusammenfassung: | Ways are considered of preventing fires and explosions of methane–air mixtures in coal mines and elsewhere, the ignition and explosion of hydrogen–air mixtures, and the transition of combustion to detonation in the current model of a ramjet. The results from interdepartmental tests are presented along with experimental data illustrating the destruction of a stationary detonation wave by small impurities of lower hydrocarbons. |
