Zusammenfassung: | In the current study, we aimed to identify the phytochemical content of ethanol (EEM), methanol (EMM) and, ethyl acetate (EEAM) extracts of the mangosteen rind and wanted to know the lowest reducing blood lipid effect (total cholesterol/TC and triglycerides/TG), along with the most increasing high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) levels in the blood of these extract. To increase lipid blood level, Wistar male were feed fat-rich diet (standard feed: 80%, duck egg yolk: 5% and lard: 15%) for 30 days, followed by administration of EEM, EMM, and EEAM for 30 days. A. Materials: Standard BR-1 feed, fat-rich diet food (85% standard food, 10% lard, 5% duck egg yolk), simvastatin, cholesterol reagent (Dyasis), TG reagent (Dyasis), HDL precipitant reagent (Dyasis), CMC-Na (Bratacho), ethanol 96% (Bratacho), methanol (Bratacho), ethyl acetate (Bratacho). Saponin compounds contained in the saponin fraction of leaves of Sauropus androgynus L dose 10 and 30 mg/kg BW can reduce lipid levels (TC, TG, LDL) and increase HDL levels in the blood of rats given for two weeks15. |
