Snuff Powders from Pre-Hispanic San Pedro de Atacama: Chemical and Contextual Analysis

The use of hallucinogenic plants in pre-Hispanic South America is discussed, and the results of the first analysis identifying psychoactive components in snuff powders obtained through controlled archaelogical excavations are presented.
