AN EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON THE CARE BURDEN IN STAIR ASCENT EVACUATION: Relationship between traction force and time by pulling up

Two subjects pulled up a person type dummy weighing 50 kg on a slope established on the stairs of the 33 degrees incline. Authors measured traction force and time and weighed the result. The subjects of the big back strength were able to raise a dummy efficiently. On the other hand, the subjects of...

Zusammenfassung:Two subjects pulled up a person type dummy weighing 50 kg on a slope established on the stairs of the 33 degrees incline. Authors measured traction force and time and weighed the result. The subjects of the big back strength were able to raise a dummy efficiently. On the other hand, the subjects of the small back strength were not able to raise efficiently because time to hold a dummy was long. In consideration of the case that stairs are narrow and steep grades, it will be necessary to examine an effective, safe method.
