Zusammenfassung: | Introduction The discrepancy between social and biological time, described as ‘social jetlag’,can be estimated by the difference in mid-sleep time during the weekend and during weekdays. Social jetlag is known to increase risk of metabolic complications, heart disease and other problems. Anemia is associated with sleep related conditions such as night sleep duration and sleep quality. In this study, we aimed to evaluate the association between social jet lag and anemia. Methods We analyzed adult participants (age ≥19) of the seventh Korea national health and nutrition examination survey (KNHANES VII, 2016). Shift workers were excluded from the analysis.
