Zusammenfassung: | Outside the peace camp, a controversy exists regarding who won, but at the same time a there is a consensus that both adversaries lost in terms of human loss and property destruction. The use of brute force and, of course, war crimes? I don't see any Palestinian government getting a good deal with Israel. The option of the national unity government will mean that the boycott against Hamas will continue because there are no guarantees that the Israelis or the Americans will accept them, but in practical terms, it means that such a government will only enable "humanitarian assistance" - the flow of some cash so that the ministries can function and people can receive salaries. |
