Zusammenfassung:In the present study, the complete mitochondrial genome of Empoasca sp. was sequenced and assembled. The complete mitogenome of Empoasca sp. was composed of circular DNA molecules, with a total size of 15,152 bp. The base composition of this mitogenome is as follows: A (38.07%), T (40.27%), G (10.51%), and C (11.12%). The mitogenome contains 13 protein-coding genes, 2 ribosomal RNA genes (rRNA), and 22 transfer RNA (tRNA) genes. The taxonomic status of the Empoasca sp. mitogenome exhibits a closest relationship with Empoasca onukii and Empoasca vitis.
