Zusammenfassung:A case study that determines the effectiveness of demand driven acquisition (DDA) strategy to improve access to the existing traditional collection development model is featured. The DDA was started at the University of Alabama in 2016 in an aim of providing seamless access and delivery to electronic (e)-books covering a wide range of disciplines supported at the university. The result of the study indicates the effectiveness of the model in improving the existing system used by the university in providing access to content when and where it is needed.
