Zusammenfassung: | The costs associated with harassment are too great for corporations not to develop and implement proactive programs that are geared toward preventing harassment. Today's work force is increasingly diverse; therefore, the prevention of harassment, especially sexual harassment, becomes more challenging for the organization. Typically, as the concepts of Total Quality Management (TQM) are incorporated into the organization, training programs are developed to facilitate the process. A work force that is expected to function in teams needs to be given training in a number of areas, including sexual harassment. A suggested outline of a training program for all levels of employees includes: 1. overview of the state of the corporation, 2. statement from the head of the corporation, 3. overview of TQM, 4. team training, and 5. training in the use of tools. |
