Zusammenfassung:The genus Platypalpus Macquart is hereby reported from Laohegou Nature Reserve, Sichuan with the following six species: Platypalpus acutatus Yang et Li, 2005, Platypalpus breviseta sp. nov., Platypalpus crassifemur sp. nov., Platypalpus dongae sp. nov., Platypalpus flavisetosus sp. nov. and Platypalpus laohegouanus sp. nov. One new species group, Platypalpus acutatus group, is proposed with Platypalpus acutatus Yang et Li, 2005 and Platypalpus laohegouanus sp. nov., and Platypalpus dongae sp. nov. belongs to the Platypalpus nigritarsus group, while other three species belong to the Platypalpus longicornis group. A key to the species of Platypalpus from Laohegou Nature Reserve is presented.
