Zusammenfassung: | This research develops the Ag/AgCl electrodes based on chlorination route by KCl media. The critical role of KCl concentration was carried out at 0.1–3 M with working voltage of 9 V for 1 min and optimization of immersion time of 0.5–5 min on their potentiometric cyclic-voltammetric (CV), and the developed thickness layer. This work is essential to demonstrate the Ag/AgCl electrode as a promising candidate for electrochemical response materials. Detailed model of the CV and a control KCl concentration for obtaining the Nernst balance are described. Finally the performance of the potentiostatic response is evaluated by simulating the immersion time model of the electrode.
•The optimization with different immersion time of chlorination of an AgCl film onto Ag electrode was prepared.•A control KCl concentration for obtaining the Nernst balance are described.•The cyclic voltammogram established the obtained AgCl layer.•An optimum Nernst performance can be realized by KCl chlorination of 0.5 M within 0.5 min. |
