Zusammenfassung: | Low back pain (LBP) is one of the most common musculoskeletal complaints. Since it can determine temporary or permanent disability and a significant deterioration in quality of life, it has a very high economic and social cost. With imagining studies it was possible to appreciate the spread of anesthetic at the level of intervertebral foramina, from paravertebral and epidural space to the anterior and posterior spinal nerve roots and mostly to the sympathetic chain explaining the analgesic efficacy [2]. The combination of these analgesic techniques could be a winning strategy in the treatment of low back pain due to its prolonged analgesic effect compared to conventional therapy [6]. |
