Effects of nutrient enrichment on growth and herbivory of dwarf red mangrove (Rhizophora mangle)

A study was conducted to determine responses by red mangrove (Rhizophora mangle) and its primary consumers to nutrient enrichment. The question of whether nutrient limitation is responsible for the dwarf plant form of red mangrove is examined.
