The choice of words used at the HOTS level includes analysis, comparing, concluding, creating, combining, and planning .HOTS only focuses on questions that are able to stimulate analytical and problem solving skills, not on complicated types of questions beyond the capacity of students. The aim of research: 1) Assessing the results of validation and presentation of learning materials mathematics based on HOTS; 2) Analyzing learning materials mathematics based on HOTS. The research was conducted using descriptive qualitative methods. Validation using the Likert Scale. The research subjects were sixth semester Mathematics Education students. Data collections obtained by validating learning materials, student presentations, discussion and documentation. The results of the research showed that the average of validation learning materials were categorized as good, including the content validity, language, presentation and graphics. The results of the student presentations were categorized to be very good. HOTS achievement in learning materials at presentation was 90%, after revision from 70%. |
