Zusammenfassung: | On October 21, Canadians returned Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to power with a minority Liberal government that will have to rely on other parties to pass legislation. For the first time in a federal campaign, climate change topped the concerns of the electorate, with over two-thirds of voters casting ballots for parties with strong climate action plans. The re-election of Trudeau shows that to come to power in Canada a federal party must have a credible plan to protect the climate. |
