Dietary regulation of rat intestinal angiotensin-converting enzyme and dipeptidyl peptidase IV

The effect of varying amounts of dietary protein on the levels of expression of several of the major peptidases was examined in a study. According to the results, a diet high in proline (gelatin) is particularly effective in increasing intestinal levels of two enzymes.
