Cardiac β-adrenoceptor-effector coupling in portal vein-stenosed rats

A study found that although portal vein stenosis in rats does not alter cardiac beta-adrenoceptor density, transduction of the signal between the receptor and adenylyl cyclase is adversely influenced.
