Zusammenfassung:	Nerve fibers containing bombesin (BB)/gastrin-releasing polypeptide (GRP), pituitary adenylate cyclase-activating polypeptide (PACAP), vasoactive intestinal polypeptide (VIP), or galanin are known to innervate the mucosa of the upper small intestine.
