Is there low-dimensional chaos in pulsatile secretion of parathyroid hormone in normal human subjects ?

An attempt was made to determine whether the secretory pattern of parathyroid hormone (PTH) is quasiperiodic, chaotic or stochastic. PTH secretion seems to be a first example of a chaotic hormonal rhythm in human physiology.
