Exercise stimulates interleukin-6 secretion: Inhibition by glucocorticoids and correlation with catecholamines

The results of a study suggest that interleukin-6 secretion is stimulated during exercise, whereas exogenous glucocorticoids attenuate this effect without affecting the catecholamine levels.
