Problems of application of Pareto set for choosing optimal strategies of university development in world university rankings

The position of the university in the rankings determines its attractiveness not only for applicants, but also for business. Therefore, each university is interested in maximum profitability from resources invested in the development. Growth of university in world university rankings can be presented as a multi-objective problem. According to Edgeworth-Pareto principle, the best solution to this problem should be found in Pareto set, which consists of optimal nondominated vectors. This article addresses the problems of application of Pareto set for choosing optimal strategies of university development in world university rankings.
