UNCERTEINTY OF WET-BULB GLOBE TEMPERATURE FROM ITS DIFFERENT MEASUREMENT METHODS

This research investigates the uncertainty of a wet-bulb globe temperature (WBGT) coming from the variation of sensors composing WBGT both from empirical and theoretical approach based on the sensor heat balance. Zusammenfassung:This research investigates the uncertainty of a wet-bulb globe temperature (WBGT) coming from the variation of sensors composing WBGT both from empirical and theoretical approach based on the sensor heat balance. The use of a compact globe temperature caused 2.2 K error in WBGT and 10 K error in globe temperature itself. The use of a general humidity sensor yielded 1 K error in wet-bulb temperature thereby 0.9 K error in WBGT. We demonstrated the error of WBGT by the different size of globe temperature was able to be theoretically corrected.
