Zusammenfassung: | We investigate the problem of the MHD free convective heat generating flow past a semi-infinite vertical flat plate under the influence of radiation, Hall and ion parameters in this paper. The system of nonlinear partial differential equations that model the flow is solved using a relatively new spectral based numerical method that combines quasilinearization and decoupling to simplify a large system of equations. The convergence of the method is established and it is shown to have high accuracy in generating solutions. It is shown that radiation, Hall, and ion parameters have a significant effect on the velocity of the fluid as well as the fluid temperature and micro-rotation. Further, the results of the skin friction coefficient, the rate of heat and mass transfer at the wall are presented with various values of fluid parameters. |
